[Zelda : Midna's Lament Remix]

Awesome!

The drums are sweet...the violin is a bit funky next to the rest of the great sounding samples, but the composition of it is excellent, so hardly worth complaining about. Very nice remix!

Cool!

Makes me think of some of the old music from NES games when it's played by a band. This is both good and bad...as a song on it's own it's kinda meandering and doesn't make much of a point, but as a background tune it'd be cool.
Great sound to it, drums could use a bit more beef, but that's personal preference. :)

I agree with the other comment that it feels stiff, but setting that aside it's a beautiful little song with great potential. Also, your title amuses me so. XD

I will get it out of the way by saying the samples used aren't fantastic, so I am looking past them entirely at your composition. It is a little stiff, but overall it portrays the emotion very well and has a nice buildup. My only suggestions would be to add in some lower end and some syncopation to vary it up a little. :)

Skill and Depth somewhat hidden

This has great potential, but falls short, through no fault of your own, due to the samples you are using. It's well put together and tells a strong story, but the actual instruments are just too poor to try and create something this epic with. Still, I can hear where you are going with it, and it's very good.
If you happen to be interested, I would be curious to see what running a midi of this through my sample library would it turn it into (Something I've done before for friends and find quite fun).
Keep it up, here's hoping you get better stuff to work with soon. :)

Pretty cool!

In listening through it, I really like the feel of it, just not the flow. The kickass drums come in but jump in and out too much to feel steadily enjoyable - it also partway builds up until it feels like it's about to break out into something huge and epic, but then winds back down. Even still, this was a fun listen and when the drums are there, they're really awesome. Nice work!
